Kekurangan tenaga pengajar dialami oleh sekolah yang menginduk (filial)
SD Muhammadiyah 4 Palembang ini. Di sekolah yang terletak di Desa
Saluran Kecamatan Talang Kelapa kabupaten Banyuasin ini, seorang guru,
Komariah harus bertanggungjawab mengajar siswa dari kelas 1 hingga kelas
6.
Meski hanya memiliki murid 25 siswa, namun Komariah mengaku memilih
bertahan di sekolah yang serba mengalami kekurangan fasilitas ini karena
merasa peduli dengan pendidikan generasi di desa tersebut. "Saya hanya
tamat SMA, saya belajar menjadi guru secara otodidak saja, akhirnya
terbiasa menjadi guru, jika saya tidak mengajar sekolah ini, maka tidak
ada guru lagi yang akan mengajar dan sekolah terancam ditutup,” ujarnya
kepada Gatra.com, Rabu (13/11).
Karena hanya seorang diri, maka ia bertanggungjawab mengajar seluruh
siswa dari jenjang kelas 1 hingga 6, yang berlangsung hanya dalam satu
ruangan. "Siswanya ada 25 orang. Kelas satu ada 5 orang, kelas dua ada 5
orang, kelas tiga ada 2 orang, kelas empat ada 3 orang, kelas lima ada 4
orang dan kelas enam ada 6 orang. Kesemua diajarkan dengan waktu silih
berganti saja," terangnya.
Selain belajar dalam keterbatasan ruangan, materi yang diberikan kepada
siswa masih berstandar KTSP dan kurikulum 2013 (K-13). Sejak sekolah
berdiri tahun 2002, dengan bantuan dana swadaya dari masyarakat,
memanfaatkan bangunan tua dengan kondisi hanya beratap seng. "Sejak
dibangun, sekolah ini belum pernah diperbaiki. Usulan ke pemerintah saya
tidak tahu, karena kepala sekolah yang mengaturnya," akuinya.
Kormariah yang sudah dua tahun mengajar ini pun kesulitan mendapatkan
gaji, untuk gaji sebesar Rp1juta/tiga bulan, ia harus ke luar desa guna
menuju ke sekolah induk. Dengan biaya transportasi yang juga besar, maka
gaji diambil setiap setengah tahun sekali. “Kami pun tidak pernah
mendapatkan fasilitas pendukung, seperti buku, spidol dan lainnya.
Keperluan itu dibeli dengan menggunakan uang gaji saya,” akunya.
Karena masih berstatus sekolah menginduk, maka setiap Ujian Nasional
(UN) maka para siswa harus mengikutinya di sekolah induk, SD
Muhammadiyah 4 Palembang. Saat UN tersebut para siswa terpaksa menginap
di rumah keluarga atau saudara guna menjangkau sekolah induk teresbut.
"Harapan saya tidak banyak, cukup digaji satu bulan Rp1 juta saja. Kalau
sudah sebesar itu, saya mau nambah guru yang mengajar di sini dan saya
gaji dari uang gaji saya itu. Kasihan anak-anak ini, kalau tidak sekolah
bagaimana masa depan mereka," pungkasnya.
Akses ke sekolah ini juga cukup jauh, jalan yang ditempuh masih berupa
jalan tanah dengan ruas jalan yang sempit dan lokasi sekolah juga masih
dikelilingi kawasan hutan yang sudah tidak alami lagi.
